1940s Made in Japan Portable Hardbound Novel Ashtray

Small portable ashtray made in Japan sometime in the 1940s. The ashtray is in the shape of a bound novel, opening up to reveal a small porcelain ashtray with cigarette holder on the inside cover of the book.

Porcelain insert may be removed and cleaned.
